Little build update: bought Gen Xtal & Gen Bezel Assembly and decided to stick to a full SL build with the TC Dial. So it will be a 2003 lugholes build with SL dial, hands and insert. So the flat 4 tritium insert I found will need to go LOL. Took me quite some time to find it. But now I found a full assembly I´d better go full SL on this build.

I thought that a lugholes would need tritium dial but then I found that lugholes also come with Superluminova (swiss made) dials. So now I have Insert, Dial and Hands all matching.

SuperLuminova :)
Ahhh your post makes much more sense to me now :)

I've been contemplating a gen bezel assembly but so much $$

In your experience how much better is the function of the bp bezel after adrian works on it. (Just function not asthetic )

I really can´t tell as I have not yet experienced an Adrian worked bezel LOL. But I heard - read that function will be fine. It is is just the Gen Sheen of the bezel teeth that will make a big difference. So Gen Bevel of Xtal and Gen Bezel will make an optical difference imho that is hard to replicate.

Money well spent for that kind of luxury on your build for sure!

Ps shouldn't you be sleeping lol?

He has just bought the machinery , he is not producing the bezels yet
I was asking about the click spring mod, is that all he does to improve the functionality of the bezel? My bezel is so soft with poor clicks.

The machine he's getting is to improve the asthetic of the bezel teeth right? Not the teeth on the inside that affect the click function

Lol, I must be the last hardcore believer that has an all stock otb Seadweller left around here. The bezel works, the crown works and the bracelet is fine, time-keeping and pr are at optimum (+1 s per day) and I´ve just used it as everyday watch since 2013, taking it wherever I wanted to go. This includes harsh seas and saltwater. Whatever little imperfection it has, I can well live with it, as long as it´s a trusted tool - and without winding (as it´s an automatic) and untouched it just remains like that:)
Looks, assembly quality, reliability and a big bonus for the price/cost relation - definitely put it within the top-ten reps available imho.

Daywatch well mine is currently stock and I've been loving it for weeks! However since the day I received it when screwing in the crown it feels like there is sand in there, yikes. So for that I have a gen crown. The bracelet on mime is slightly disappointing,.the self fit could be better but also there's this:

They made that piece too short and it's quite annoying. So I received a tc bracelet which will fix the sel and this problem. Upon receiving the tc I can say the clasp and diver extension are far superior.

The hands on mine are not white like the dial markers so I will put tc hands to fix it.

I have to say my clone movement (whatever it is, I haven't taken a look) is kicking ass. It's +3 secomds/day with 40 hour pr. Nothing to complain about there!

I'm happy to wear it as is, I'm in no rush to change it. But I am prepared to make some upgrades when that crown goes to hell!

Upgrading when something breaks or is mechanically not quite right is a sound policy, You always end up with a better watch:)

Mine's stock and water treated too.
Barely worn as it came right around the time I picked up my LMPO.
Must say that I like the aluminum bezel more than the newer, shinier ceramic bezels, kinda like a TC over a BK.

+1 I can't explain it. I do think the new models are attractive but there's just something about the 5 digits I prefer. More classy, sleeker, less show-boating

Daywatch this is one of the best oob reps around. I had been wearing all my reps stock oob and wanted to experience the modded phenomenon. Wore my BPSD oob for 2 yrs before mod work. Loved it before and love it more with mods......

Yeah I'm in a similar boat. I've never done any mods or a build so I wanted to experience it for myself and I fell in love with the 16600 so why not!

But like I said, no rush, I'm enjoying it stock for now. I need to get my black bay fixed up anyways as it's not even running

bgreg - I love that red hand! It kicks much ass. I've purchased two watches now off of this forum. My second to arrive today, which is a regular SD rep, the seller wasn't sure of the exact build, I think it's another Noob.
I've currently been wearing a Noob V2 DeepSea and it's kicking much ass. Albeit heavy as hell.
I was trying to post my pleasure with the watch but couldn't figure out how to start a thread so I just had to post here. I'm hoping that my SD will be just as nice.
I read about everyone modding their watches ..... How does someone new like myself learn what you can do and cannot and should or should not.
I guess my question is:
When do you leave well enough alone?
