BP Seadweller.. Best SD available Period

I knew about the earliest generations of Sea-Dwellers having hollow end links, and folded bracelets, but I thought by the 16600 release they got rid of hollow mid/center links on the bracelets.

But apparently there actually are hollow center link 16600 bracelets, I've actually seen it in a few pics now, like http://forums.watchuseek.com/f67/rolex-16600-sea-dweller-462794.html or this thread http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=359364

So did every 16600 come with hollow center links? If so, that's disappointing

Well that's just great , I don't know, my 16600 BP is with Tagfan1 getting mods so I don't have the bracelet plus its been gone for months due to many projects Tagfan and I have been involved with. I do have the TC Sea Dweller bracelet on my work bench at home but I'm still at work..So know clue, Sorry!

My BPSD has got hollow center links


Generel rule for the Rolex : 5 digit= hollow center links (with the execption of the Yachtmaster and precious metal ones)
6 digit= solid center links.

But we know reps dont always follow the rules, but in this case, they do..

The reference number, IE the SD is 16600 = 5 digits

The new ceramic seadweller is 116600 = 6 digits

My bpsd has hollow midlinks. My gen 16710 also has hollow mid links.

It's just that one has 2824 vs. 2813 movement. Is there any advantage as both are high beat for sweeping motion?

Get the 2824 if you want accurate to gen movement. 2813 is low beat.

Yeah this is a good thread, still trying to go thru the over 360 pages.

A bit leery of making my TC Sub a daily beater but if this BP Classic Seadweller is pretty accurate and has superlume, game on! Looks treatable for swimming too. Is there any AR on the crystal? Still wading thru the posts.
