Kbh,
As you know, BP has come a long way since they first came out with these. In the early models you had to change the dial because the printing was bad and a lot of the markers were crooked. The last 2 I bought to mod but ended up just doing little things like dealing pearls, trimming CG's but other than that I kept them stock.

TC dial, hands and gen insert

Effing sick

Looks like I will be getting the one in the photos, Sead confirmed its BP and can take genuine parts, I'm very stoked. Now he has to get me the Blancpain FF no Radiations.

If you can do all of the work yourself it's just the cost of the parts.

Cost of the watch +
TC dial -$100
TC hands - $50
TC bracelet - $55
Gen insert - $150

This is what I have adapted stolen from your mutual ideas so far!

>Re-work the CG's if needed
> Genuine INSERT//16600 or 14060
> Fitted TC dial and TC hands set $100.00
>Re-tapped the BP case to fit Genuine crown and WSO tube or better
> TC V4 DWO $35.00
> WR tested
> Greased the crown gaskets and rear caseback gasket
>Re-polished the case, including lugs
> TC 93160A bracelet $39.00

QUESTION is the crown for the 16600 same as 16610?

The crown for 16600 is the same as 16610.

Also, depending on the quality of the watch you recieve, you may not need to change the dial, hands or even the bracelet. There has been a huge improvement in the latest batches. IMHO.

Why would you want a flat 4 insert? They are from the older cases with lug holes.

Here is a newer stock BPSD compared to a modded version with TC dial for comparison. There newer version was so good, I opted not to change the dial. I just changed the hands. Now they have fixed the color issue with the hands.
They are really good out of the box.

TC on rubber.

So Awesome I think I have some WM pearls in my drawer from when I was going to copy your LV inserts :)

Damn this may be easy and inexpensive.

Just to ask something. Is the difference between the SD and DSSD's hour hands is that the SD's hour hands are a bit smaller?

Exactly what I was getting at in an earlier post. Even the hands were good on the BP hands I got.
