Sounds like the balance wheel is broke.
What's the cost to get this fixed? Should I claim a new movement from TD?

I'm currently looking for a bezel off an old BPSD...the new ones can't be taken off without being bent almost it!
Sent from my Rolex thinking brain!
The old bezel ring off the first BPSD ? You got one?

lol!!!!Great rep out of the box, just reshape the case, bezel, replace movement, hands, dial, crown, tube, bracelet....
Shat....seems like BP has gone backwards!Mine also has that really long click spring. Spent a half an hour looking for the one R2 sent me for my last build that wouldn't fit. Was hoping it would fit this one, but I guess I'll never know.
TC dial and hands are in. I think the CG's are actually inflated on the outer side. The inner portion surrounding the crown looks ok.
Tube on this one was pretty chewed up... Surprise surprise. Crown is plated or something, the inner portion with the threads is bronze color.
I may attempt to mod the existing bezel ring. I think if the teeth were opened up a bit, it could be perfect.

Rudy40, you've inspired me (as well as other members) to build my own "ultimate" 16600. Plans include:
- BP Seadweller
- mod CG and case
- TC hands, dial, bracelet
- Gen bracelet clasp
- Gen bezel insert with pearl
-Gen crown and Gen tube
- service Swiss ETA 2836
- WR
Also,
-change bezel click spring? (Help please)
- TC date window?
- aftermarket crystal?
- AR?
Any suggestions or advice are greatly appreciated. I'm looking to make the ultimate daily watch without spending 5-6k for a gen at the moment.
Dont bother with gen clasp.
change the click spring to any gen spec
what about the date window? If your talking about DWO get a BK or TC V4
dont bother with the crystal stock is fine.
never AR a rolex there are none with AR unless it's on the cyclops

For some reason rsh states the BK will align better than TC?
And rsh used a Clark's gen spec click spring on mine!
The TC clasp is really good for the most part! No need for gen clasp unless you just want to get one..
And no ones been able to find a good aftermarket crystal that looks better than the stock!
I would just stick with stock!
Other than that..Jordan's right!
Your on the right track! But expect to spend at least a grand for watch parts and labor to get it looking right!
Have fun!

TC dial and hands on this watch = super rep. Anything more is obsessive. Any problems down the line (movement tanks, stripped crown threads, etc..) is readily fixable.
