That doesn't sound so good. After reading these threads I had convinced myself that a bpsd would be my next purchase but it sounds like they have gone downhill again!
Just received a BPSD yesterday. Still has the incorrect color hand lume. Markers are still crooked.
The bezel is much softer, the teeth are not cut crisp like the other BPSD's from 6-12 months ago.
The crown and tube is much smoother to operate. While this is a great improvement, I think the crown may be brass and plated. I will look at it further and let you know.
The bracelet is good, and seems improved. The clasp seems improved, especially the coronet which is crisply stamped. SEL fitment is great. I do not see the need for TC bracelet.
Refurbished older Swiss ETA inside. 2834-2, which is identical to a 2836-2, except for having a day wheel added. This one has been running for a day and keeping very good time.

From which TD did you order from? The one I received a week ago do no have these issues.
I fully agree about the soft bezel, it's the weakest part of this great watch imho.
Mine is so soft that it's actually difficult to operate.
I'm still looking for a replacement, but that's no easy task.
This is the same watch i sent Rudy but with Swiss movement...Rudy thought the CG's needed to be work..and so did i....He cleaned out the crown seat and reshaped the CG's....Besides TC parts...are you going gen on any other parts like crown insert etc?I sold my BPSD build. I missed it and bought a new BPSD. Going with TC dial and hands. Looking for your thoughts and opinions on the new watch. Mainly, the CG's and bezel. i'll reserve comment until I hear yours.
Yep that will be me!...LOL!!Are you like "the dude" Rudy? Referring to yourself in 3rd party?
Well, thanks Rudy.
Was hoping to get more eyes on this before I went to work on it. Or didn't. I think the CG's look a little fat, but nice and long.
I suppose i'll update after I do whatever it is I decide to do. 4gtr:
Sounds like the balance wheel is broke.Just noticed an issue with my bpsd When the dial is faced down, the watch will stop ticking. Everything normal when faced up. Anybody know how to fix this? Btw, it is an a2836.
