Are the BP and TC bracelets really have a great difference in terms of feel, after oil bath? My bpsd is on the way but not sure if I should also order a TC bracelet.

I have got both bracelets laying around here. SELs are slightly better on TC's but not really perfect in terms of finish. Clasp is better, too. But I have to repeat it again. TC's 93250 is superior to his 93160. So don't expect too much improvenent over the stock BP bracelet.
If you seperate the SELs from the midlinks and rework them you will reach same quality as on TC's. Refinishing and reworking the rest of the BP bracelet will also show a big improvement but is hard work!

You cannot do a simple change between 2836 and 2824 because stem height differs about 0,45mm. You will risk stem damage caused by twist and bow.
I don't believe that TC's and BK's DWO differ anyway because datewheels of both movements are identical considering outer and inner diameter. Only height of datewheel is different.

I have a 2824 in mine and it works flawlessly. You can use a 2824 in this watch without issue. The height difference is negligible on this watch. My point is, many of us have 2824's and they line up just fine.

Maybe it works. But the case is designed for DG2813 and his derivates or eta283x. Both have got a stem height of 2,5mm and 2,45mm. This is negligible i. m. o.
But 0,45mm are a really big difference in the worl of watch movements. A watchsmith surely wouldn't do such a change without spacering the movement.
Good luck for a long life with your 2824 in this case.

How does the hardness of the stainless steel compare between the two? One thing I notice about my BP bracelets is how easily they scratch. The TC 93250 doesn't scratch nearly as easily as the BP bracelet. However, I haven't tried the 93160 to compare.

I think BP bracelet and TC 93160 should be nearly the same. I. m. o. they probably come from the same factory. Only TC's seems to be assorted and finished a tad finer considering SELs. Clasp has got some minor differences, too.

In any case ....I guess it's all what you are used to working with! I guess it's easier for him to get the BK DWO on the 2836-2 and get it aligned...I guess that's his preference !

Like I said before...when it comes to that kind of work on a watch ..I leave it to the guys that know what there doing!

Yes the colour of TC's bracelet ist more yellowish. That's the reason why I like Noob's SSD V2. Very bright and white steel.

Yes. For a long time. Only m2m sales are availible.
With some mods SSD comes out very fine.

Iirc Rudy is talking about the printing of the dwo as discussed by a modder comparing the installations of both overlays.... Not the wheels themselves. If you were to read portions of tC's blog you'll see where he mentions the alignment issue on the v3, and for the record gen date wheels aren't always centered either my 16800's date drifts all over the date window

Hey guys, have not been watching the thread much....but yes, the movement does not matter, I think the BK dwo simply is better in terms of centration in the window. I will get it on and see and can use a TC if necessary.

Just received my SD from Andrew, extremely happy with it. Is it just me or the hands don't look greenish at all? The print on the dial is also raised! I remember reading somewhere the dial print on BP SD is flat. Am I getting the right watch?

For the BP bracelet, the feel is quite substantial and solid. The SEL is perfect. I know this totally contradict with some of the members' comment here. I had a TC v6 before and BP bracelet still wins in terms of feel. Am I the only one here?

Pop,
i think BP has made some huge improvements with the watch since it came out....I agree with you that the bracelet is good now. At least it was with the last one I received.

Here are the changes I see.
hands are better
dial more crisp
bracelet more solid feel
bezel scallops more crisp

This watch is getting as close as a super rep now :) I would however still change the hands as the edges are not cut to perfection, if you know what I mean. But that is just being anal :)
