Yeah that's what I said a while back! Having built and owned three of them ...The first I bought is when they first came out!
Then in this thread I seen subtle changes and improvements ! So I sold and bought a new one!
Then sold it and bought the latest one! They keep on getting better as they go!
Changing the dial,case insert strap etc!

There only available in Swiss movement was what I was told? $269 plus $25 ems shipping...So look to spend $300

Unless one of these other dealer have one in Asian movement in stock...?

There is a gen spec bezel with insert availible at WSO.

Only problem is BP uses old refurbished Swiss movements.

That's the reason why I only would buy the Asian version. A gen swiss movement 2834/2836 is mounted really fast if you got one.

I also think the only weak point of the BPSD is the bezel ring, I had the chance to compare mine with a gen and the teeth are actually not very sharp. There's also too much space between the teeth.
There's a set of three bezel rings for Sea Dweller 16660 on WSO but I don't know if they fit on our BPSD. Mine should be one of the latest, I had it less than a month ago from Sead.
The price is also quite steep....

I got the swiss, as that was the one that was available at the time. It ended up being less reliable than A2836's i have in other watches.

I had it serviced, some parts need replaced and it needed a good cleaning and oiling and now it works perfectly.

If you plan on getting it serviced, go for the Swiss, if not get the A2836, in my experience they are more reliable out of the box, as most of the Swiss ones are old movements.

It's probably best to go with the asian 2836 clone. However mine was crap and needed servicing.

thanks rols and kohr , I am in the same boat as rudy ( dealer says the bpsd is only available in swiss refurb )

rols , that is impressive , do the TC hands look good with the BP dial colour wise and lume wise ?

how much for the service and replace hands from the guy who did the work ( you can pm me the price if you like )

Well Sead gets all of my reps..
And I will pull the case back when it gets here! If things are not working properly or look gummed up..I will send it out for service at the same time it gets modded! Because I plan on keeping this one finally ...lol!

He is talking about the outer bezel teeth. Not the ones inside where the click spring goes.
