Are the BP Sea-Dwellers out of stock at the moment? I have ordered two 2813 versions from two different dealers about a week back and yet to recieve any QC pictures.

You need to take a look at the hairspring and see if it tangled over itself. That sounds like what happened.

So basically let the movement run down and take a look at it
I guess I could finally get to epoxying that HEV

You may need to take off the auto wind module to get a good look at it. I think three black screws hold it on. (turns out it's two black screws. I just looked.)

Also, before you do anything drastic, try slapping the watch a couple of time into the palm of your hand. Sometimes that works wonders.

Apparently the smallest screwdriver I have is a 1.4 mm so I cant do anything with that.
Ill just put everything back together order a loupe and some new finer screwdrivers and get to work with those but still kind of annoying, I can live with a minute or two without much issue but its reeeealy annoying.
While im at it Ill also replace it with TC's tube and crown.

I have one of these gems on order, is the HEV sealing necessary with this model? I thought I read somewhere in this thread that someone went swimming as-is.

The HEV valve is fake, it does not go into the inside of the case, but you need to at least grease all the seals before swimming

I just greased case back and crown seals and swam all summer with it last year. Ocean and in the pool.

Absolutely! That's a must with all my reps. I didn't know that the HEV didn't penetrate the case, thought. Thanks for insight.

RSH is as usual correct, the HEV is not drilled straight through the case so need need to epoxy it, in fact I defy you to get it out in the first place!

Major modding to get this done but I've done it, not 100 % successfully but it's in there. There is a lot of machining work to get it right. The problem is a the moment I don't have a gen to work off, any offers on a loan case/watch?.

I feel the same way. On top of things the hands are a perfect match and have the correct build.

So this means that the newest version comes only with swiss or 2813? Can we say that only the older versions mount the 2836? Am I correct?
What about the reliability of the 2813? As good as the 2836? Thanks mates.

I gave my boss one with 2813 and he says its running perfect as well. I keep asking him as I know these have not been around long.

ok so I just recieved both of my QC photos and approved them but both have different beat rates.
Are both high and low beat 2813 still being used on the BP or are the new batches high beat only?
