Thanks dude! Got it from raffles pretty cheap, might look at changing the end links but they're 555's.

Looks awesome. I just ordered an ARF for another project. Pretty sure KJ2020 said it doesn’t fit. Think I’m gonna go through with the lug holes to the outer case on a CNC at work that I program here and there. Have a crappy YM caseback that should fit.
Pretty excited, it’s a nice looking piece!

Yeah the ARF super jubilee from their DJ 36 is not a perfect fit. The curve between the lugs is different on the 36mm case than the 40mm GMT. I've managed to make some jubilees fit by carefully sanding and grinding the outer part of the curves but it's worth practicing on a junk bracelet or end link first. One mistake and your project is toast, haha.

So I went digging around in my parts stash and found a Jubilee...Probably from a 1675 from years ago.

Not to change the subject but I asked Sead to get me a 214270 BP 904L A2824, I also asked if he had any update on the Panerai 911 or the Tudor 79030B.....I was almost tempted to buy the 79030B in gen but I'm saving up to buy my son a gen Omega Seamaster 300 Blue Dial for christmas. I also asked Adrian if he had made any progress on my 16710 build....I mean its not as if I spend my day thinking about watches and nothing else....Today I thought of Food and Sex!

Happened the same to me yesterday.
Was looking at gen BB58s blue ( somebody please release the rep soon) as well as the GMTs and I finished buying another 16710 and receiving this beauty.

Thankfully BP exists to bring us nice watches for less than €300

On another point I’m keeping a hope for a BB58 GMT- that will be the closest that we can get to a 16710 re-release

They look great :) are both out of the box ?

Yes this picture was taken of the two was as I received them from Sead. Bone stock no mods.

I have another BP 16710 Pepsi with Adrian in Manchester England, He is going to modify it to accept Gen spec Bezel, Gen coke insert, Gen crystal, Gen dial, Gen DW or TC DWO and a new swiss 2836. Plus I think he is going to countersink or thin the case back, I have a spare slim caseback for it just in case or if he does counter sink it maybe I will add the slim caseback and really reduce the overall thickness

I am still hoping some other factory’s are going to make a 16710 with more gen specification so it will be easier to replace parts.
otherwise I have to spent my money on a gen.

Replace parts? These cost $188 from Nembo's corner, if something breaks I throw it away and buy another one! For the $12k that a gen costs I can to that a lot of times and still come out ahead!

I want to replace as much as I can with gen parts. They do not fit well on a bp.
for example my Franken Submariner costs about 3k€ with all gen parts included :)

+1 to what RiffRalf said

Thing with this 16710 it’s the quality/price it’s ridiculously good for less than 300€ .

For going to a decent 6 digit Rolex you need one of the top tier reps (500ish) + gen crystal most of the times ( 300ish) + gen DW (specially if it’s an ARF) so you are around 1000 mark. If you want to add gen insert or some gen parts to the movement that goes always over the top ( around 3000 as yours)

Lastly Retail for the 16710 was less than 4000€ 10-12 years ago so spending around 2000€ on a franken doesn’t seems good to me.
