Na I took many photos and there was never that. I asked Li if it’s possible to send one.
In RL you can’t see it that much just maybe in sun (looks like dirt) but you see it in wristshots so it bother me

As I said he is looking for a new pearl but he said that costs 3-4 (!!) €. I don’t know but I think that will make it worse?! Probably false color and false blue (lume) therefore I asked Li

That 4€ pearl is going to be worst than the cracking. If it gets bigger or you can’t live with that consider an insert replacement from CF and sell that one and get sure you don’t get back to that watchsmit ( that’s the most important outcome of this issue)
Regular aftermarket pearls are POS and noticeable from 10 meters .

If you are talking about ZZF hands, they are unacceptable to me and gen crystal doesn't fix it
Maybe ok on wrist without the gen next to it. But for perfectionists (which we are strive to be in this hobby) Gen hands with crystal are a "must have" upgrade.

Agreed, I'm not ever going to sweat the CGs. Gen is a little stubbier, which I actually do not prefer.

I’ve never see a improvement by changing the pearl ,and I doubt there is one better available that the one of yours.
[mention]KJ2020 [/mention] is around here and he has an expertise in regards to exchange inserts. Maybe he can give you better advise.
I would keep it like that and when necessary swap the insert.

As I have said before, time to end this thread and start enjoying the watch for what it is vs having too many posts about what it is not. The level of scrutiny is ridiculous for $528 vs $9350 + tax
What gets me is all the "instant tell" comments because if the CG shape "really" bothers someone, he/she/gender neutral belongs to the gen owner club.

If you really want to change the pearl your best bet is to source an ARF insert, even a cracked one. The pearl can be swapped but it takes some care and the insert has to come out of the bezel. Here's a post with some info.

Crown guards here remind me of my v7 case set with correct angle lugs but wrong crown guards. Same issue as this new case set.

Beautiful... btw its not possible to reshape it correctly adding metal its a bullshit ahahah and i dont know what is wrong in sharing also this little imperfections of the reps.. some members here get mad when you touch on this kind of subjects.. i think that spot this little flaws, discuss about it, find solutions in order to have the best watch possible its nice and part of the game too.. because we all know that this kind of watches are trying to represent the essence of precison and i think its nice and doable to pursue that goal without selling my house, and then they keep telling you to stop it cause no one can spot it in normal life.. well i dont give a shit if people in the streets cant spot my rep..i want it to be perfect for me cause i am an enthusiast whitout millions in the bank.
Even with the crack pearl. I love it so much
