It sounded to me like you got pics of two watches. The zzf along with the one you posted here.

And "the 3rd" is just more pics of the 2nd watch. And Im pretty sure Andrew doesn't make these watches. Otherwise he would have been sure to make sure you had the most gen like date position in the rep world.

Got mine 5 days ago. Very good movement (-5s/d), smoother and more precise than my seiko SPB051J1 wich cost 1000€. Weight is 3 grams heavier than my gen sub. Bezel is beautiful and look gen. To me, better crystal with AR coating on cyclop, better clasp and it’s a perfect rep for the price. Thanks Li

I applaud your courage to share these pics bro, and your ability to overlook this little deviation. I'm not sure I would be so accepting, even now (or maybe especially now) that Ive been on the waiting list for a gen Hulk for 26 months.

It should be easier to get one now. I called a few ADs close by and added my name because talking to the ADs and also seeing how many people are copping who were just recently added.

A lot of people who who have been on the list are passing or not reachable and I know that the ADs are sometimes having to go deep onto the waiting list to find buyers. I have a buddy who got a Pepsi after being reluctantly added to the waiting list in February.

Why do the new Sub reps all use flip lock clasps when the Gen Subs use glide lock clasps? The glide lock is superior for adjusting the bracelet on the fly.

Just so you know, the glidelock isn’t meant for adjusting the size on the fly. It is meant to expand the size so that you can slip it on over the outside of a wetsuit and wear it while diving. That is why Rolex only puts it on dive watches (Submariner, DSSD, RLSD) and not sports watches like gmts. Just food for thought.

Also, as been pointed out, the fliplock and glidelock aren’t mutually exclusive and the rep brackets on 6 digits all have glidelock clasps.

How is the SA3135 movement holding up ?

Did they do any changes to it ? Because i'm pretty sure i heard that this movement is garbage ?? Or i'm i confusing it with another ?

I dont have a watchsmith, so i cant mod or service it

Edit - There is lots of post on Rolex owners FB forum about people getting unexpected calls from their ADs and folks getting watches with after only 2 month wait. So this thing is getting real...

It's not a flaw, someone just decided to start the serial number with an X. Rolex uses random serials now too. The serial number X is smaller and a different font than the preceding Rolex X, they are separate engravings.

The gap between the L and the 2 in the serial is a flaw, but none of it should matter. You can't see any of it on the wrist unless you wear your watch upside down and use a loupe.

Mine is running - 20s/d unfortunately so is off for watchmaker to take a look at while installing new crystal
