Please show the darker tone once u get it !!JJ all the way for me. I felt the SW print was really bad and all the others custom dials I saw just weren’t that great either. I went with darker tone JJ dial and just waiting to put it in a 116519.

I wouldn't put it above the OASCOM dials but I will be doing a comparison soon@Temple - That has to be the best meteorite dial I've seen
I’ve been on a hunt for over a year@Temple - That has to be the best meteorite dial I've seen
Based on pics, I would deffo agree with you - but been waiting for your comparison with anticipation as you knowI wouldn't put it above the OASCOM dials but I will be doing a comparison soon
But it’s also like 1/2 the price of Pat’s dials heheI wouldn't put it above the OASCOM dials but I will be doing a comparison soon
It's close. OZ dials were in the range of 1K, and JJ dials are priced around the same as Nikz dials at $750ish (although you get discounts by purchasing multiple items). Over the past couple of years, the dials have come a long way, that's for sure. But it’s also like 1/2 the price of Pat’s dials hehe
Assuming his meteorite Daytona dials are around the same as his meteorite GMT dials, they were now well north of $1k.It's close. I got his GMT dial in a Pepsi from M2M at cost ($1500/Watch/Met dial). And then I had it WG plated, but that is a completely different type of met dial. The GMTs are a little darker, like Gen.Assuming his meteorite Daytona dials are around the same as his meteorite GMT dials, they were now well north of $1k.
His GMT meteorite dial alone is now almost what you paid for the watch and dial together.I got his GMT dial in a Pepsi from M2M at cost ($1500/Watch/Met dial). And then I had it WG plated, but that is a completely different type of met dial. The GMTs are a little darker, like Gen.
From what I understand (as told to me by the seller), I now possess the only two Oascom Daytona dials in existence. Apparently, the way the story goes is that Oz created 2 Daytona met dials (one to sell and one for himself), and he sold one on the forum and Keishara picked it up in M2M 2nd hand. Then Keishara reached out to Pat, to get the second one, and Pat didn't want money for it. At the time, VSF/Noob was thought to be out of business, and Keishara traded a bunch of hard-to-find parts in the neighborhood of $1100 for the second Daytona dial. Keishara held on to both for a while. I reached out to him last year about one, and he eventually sold it to me 9 months later as he wasn't wearing it. I continued that conversation with him for a few months until he eventually told me that he was leaving the rep hobby and asked if I wanted the second as well. I of course jumped on it. Each of those two watches cost me around 2400 or so (I think). Well worth it. But I did just buy a JJ dial to compare them all.
This is what I like bout this hobby and this is what it's all about... hunting down on parts and/or building one your own to your liking... comparing different types and options out there for your grail watch. AND meeting lots of good people along the way and learning more about this hobby.I got his GMT dial in a Pepsi from M2M at cost ($1500/Watch/Met dial).
