I'm considering buying the GMT Master II Pepsi with a meteorite dial. Neither Clean nor VSF offer this model. How is the quality of the currently available factories on the market (Gold Factory & C+F)? Does the dial from these factories come close to the original, or are there significant differences? If anyone owns such a model, could you please share your experience? Thanks in advance.

Problem is that meteorite dials vary so much so it's really challenging to find one close to gen because Rolex uses Gibeon meteorite which can't be sourced anymore. You really need to find a good dealer and have a trained eye to select one. I've never seen a gen in the flesh, but based on many high resolution pics the gen dials are more dark and grainier.

That said, a buddy of mine purchased a C+F GMT meteorite about 18 months ago. It's a beautiful watch. Is the C+F meteorite dial close to gen? I'm not sure if it is and quite honestly it really doesn't matter much to me. All I know is that it's a really nice looking watch.

I agree, I haven’t seen a single rep dial look like a gen dial. But I do enjoy the differences between each factories styling of meteorite
