Does the DW is a bit upper ?
I can't see a significant problem with the DW. For a ZF (well known for bad assembly) that's a pretty good one. What you definitely need is to get rid of the incredibly crappy strap asap since it does not even come close to how the gen looks, pls. compare:

Congrats mate, this watch indeed is just shit-hot. And it needs a curved top-notch-quality strap (which, IMNSHO, would not be Orloff). I got a strap from Alessandro - Italy (see first post in this thread) for my 5001 and I am more than satisfied.

Thanks buddy, About the strap i was contact orloff once but he has only one left and i dont like the color

Dust is an easy fix. so now your next step is a good sexy strap. There are few strap maker can do that or you can go OEM (Which will cost more). Santoni is the best however pretty damm hard to get hold of and if go AD will pay full price. Enjoy your watch and remember to post some nice wristy.

The strap is not easy to find as well buddy since the order process from strap maker take at least 5 weeks to come to me. As you mention the Santoni is the best and i found many of it in Ebay ready to ship but the price is quit expensive . Anyway thanks and many thanks buddy for your input and efforts...

As this sheet only covers the measurements of the 5001 strap, does anyone have that as well for the 5007 strap, i.e. the one with the curved ends and made to fit the curved spring bars? I'd very much like to have a custom 5007 strap made, but it would really be important to have the correct details.
It's the same, just curved end. No need to re-do all the measurements.

Well, even though it is of course not necessary to have all measurements updated it's crucial to have the exact position of the openings for the spring bars to have the strap perfectly mounted, i.e. to have no gap between strap and watch case, just like the OEM strap. I am pretty sure you can't do that without knowing that.
Edit: I would as well suggest that the bending radius of the spring bars should be known to have the strap properly fitted. I am aware it's not rocket science, but OTOH it is not that simple.

I do not have 5007, so not have measurement. I suggest you can measure your rep strap and put into drawing like above it would greatly help others.

great post thermal, totally new to IWC... been attracted to this place because of the rep of the year 2015 poll...spent the last few days reading through Portuguese 7 days threads and thinking of buying the 5007 v1 black dial now, Your thread helps a lot!! thanks!
