V3 has double barrel on movement plate. (you will see two wheels @6). Look out for crooked 10, not centered date, and any bad assembly.

Can someone confirm that the black ZF V3 version has the correct seconds subdial?
I just bought what I believe to be a ZF V3 but after looking at the gen pics noticed that the sub dial on my has a single inner ring around the number track while the other versions have both an inner and outer ring.

don't compare it to photoshopped GEN pictures. Check the real GEN and it does have the outer ring.
A gen 5007 or a gen 5001?
Care to share an example? I see the second rings in the gen photos of the different colors (not black) on the first few pages but they don't appear on the darker dials I'm seeing online and the IWC site.
In my opinion 5001/5007 dial does not have much difference. It just the logo and fonts. Colour to me it's the same. On the black dial, rep subdial is a bit more shiny compare to Gen. If you look at the first post there are some Gen vs rep dial comparison. Read all of it on first post.
