It does indeed. The metal ring in the front face is the part that “closes” that side but it’s metal against metal, which doesn’t usually seal properly. Hence the rubber gasket in between.
Interesting stuff. So does anyone here know how easy it is to source this gasket or what will fit? (assuming gen doesn't fit for whatever reason)

Hi fellow members, does anybody know if gen 502T endlinks would fit the ARF case? :)

I messaged Clark's and they said the bezel retaining ring gasket is the same as the case back gasket for the 16610. Bought these and can confirm. They fit perfectly.

Can anyone confirm what movement is in these ones? I checked mine and it has blue hairspring but it feels like the old SH3135. A few days ago I found the watch had stopped, and after checking I’d say it’s probably the reversing wheels as usual with SH movements. It works well if I wind it, but if I don’t it lasts around 48h - 60h, so I suppose it’s not auto winding. That makes me think it’s a SH3135 instead of a VR3135.

I will probably just buy a VR3135 from Aliexpress and replace it soon anyway but I’m curious about which movement these really have.

Away to install gen spec tension ring and click spring and came across weird problem...

Anyone elses ARF V2 got the click spring located at 6pm as opposed to 12pm?

does anyone know if the five-digit LV and six-digit LN are essentially the same on the inside? (maxi/mini hour hand aside)
in other words, if i had a five digit and a six digit sub, would it be a straight swap to put the insides of the six-digit inside of the five-digit case?

The 116610 uses the same movement. The 126610 uses the newer 3235.

Yeah, actually having reread it, my last post was really poorly worded

What I wanted to ask is 1. Is the maxi dial and hands on the 16610LV identical to what’s in the 116610LN, and 2. If I wanted to swap the whole movement stack from a 3135 clone 116610 rep to a 16610 case, would that be a straight swap?

for 2, since the movement used is identical I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be, but I asked in case the dial or hands diameters are different enough to cause problems

Wrong lume. Lv only uses maxi minute hand.

Nice build !

ARF midcase, bezel, insert and dial? with RAF hands ?
Thanks! Need to source some gen parts now...

Correct, all ARF bar the hands and crown. Did purchase a Horlogear insert but actually prefer the ARF. Horlogear is a bit darker in colour (more like b4/b5) and has the wrong shaped font on '50' so that was a waste of £
