I love mine still. Its the best Rolex rep we have probably ever had in terms of no mods direct from the factory. I'm thinking about sending it for an Swiss ETA replacement and DW change to a Noob DW then it will be perfect.
But Noob uses a DWO or a DW on his 282x movements? I think always a DWO because the ETA DW has the number in wrong position ...
Look careful at the teeth of the gen. The scoops from the bezel are less deep and leave more space between the scoops and the bezel inner ring (the black part with the numbers). Also the flat non- scooped part on the bezel outer ring between two scoops is also little bit longer in the gen bezel. You could say the teeth on the gen have a little more body. It would just take some small adjustment of the CNC machines to get it right, they simply need to make a slightly shallow cut/scoop from the bezel. I agree that this is a very nice out of the box gen, but just one further update, fixing this part would put it on top of my orderlist.
I really needed to go against my instincts to order the V2 SD43 last week. I intensely disliked wearing Rolex's last foray into the "big Diver" niche with the DSSD. Flipped it within a week. Hopefully this SD43 stays around longer.
sorry, but Looks like shit
