I did this with some dremel tools and very fine abrasive compound. You have to work carefully. But at the end the teeth aren‘t sharp anymore and the bezel has got a really shiny high gloss polished surface beneath the insert. I also worked a very small bevel to the bezel and reworked the outer diameter with grid #240.
