There was a rumour about the scallops being updated of the bezel but I have not seen confirmation of that in this topic. For the datewheel you should look whether you have the clean thinner font (the updated one) or the fat font (expecially noticeable on 6,8, 28 etc) which is the older one.
guys are u sure that this is the new batch or it's just the old version ???? anyone else gets QC images ???
There has been some commentary on how pointy the edge of the bezel scallops are. IMO, it is extremely difficult to notice in person. I am pretty anal about certain things, and I do not notice it because the inside of the scallops are ground very very gen like, looks like a string of pearls when the light hits it, just like a gen bezel. If anything, we are talking about fractions of millimeters. Yeah, you may want to look at the #s on the DW. Mine are fine, I think 28 is the biggest offender people have seen.
I’m with jonj480. They did an excellent job with this piece. Here’s some shots next to my franken ln. The bezel insert color is extremely close and the scallops are machined very gen like almost perfect compared to my gen bezel. In person they aren’t as pointed as seen in the macros.

Damn this thing is cleaaaaaaaan looking. I wish my QC pics were this good, I would have instantly accepted haha.
It looks like there was a stray fiber of some sort stuck on the printing pad when the dial was printed.

I sure hope the trusted dealers are not trying to sell the rejected ones due to the flaws we have mentioned here. That's why you have to pick your trusted dealer wisely.
