Getting To Know The Place
Just received my ARF bezel insert, it says V2 on the packaging. I read on some Chinese website and it says that ARF bezel insert paint are done thru PVD technology.
What you guys think? Is it true?

I bought a Gen GMT LN Bezel/insert , and still undecided to buy ARF or VRF,
I guess I’m going for ARF because of the bracelet , but the overwhelming talk about the VRF movement vs SH has me doubting , DAMN!

Get the ARF and buy a VR movement. Best of both worlds and the cheapest way to go without gen parts.
Had the ARF GMT for over a month - the dreaded date wheel issue!
I've got a VR3186 movement - the hour, GMT, minute hands fit was ok, couldnt seat the seconds hand for some reason!
Does anyone know if a gen hands will fit on a VR3186 movement without any mods?

They should bro. All VR/SH/SA/Gen 3185/6 hands holes are supposed to be the same size. Sometimes the rep hands or hands posts can be off a little.
Did you break the second hand post? It happened to me once. If so, you can swap in the SH second wheel (second hand post), it fits and works. I was able to push the broken post tip out if the second hand hole with a needle point.
Also if the fit was too loose you can pinch the hole collar a tad with some strong tweezers.

Thanks KJ! I thought I might of snapped the post (as its so thin) - but i checked it under magnifaction and it looks ok, and I could put the second hand back on the ARF movement - so my thought is that it might be tolerance difference.
I will see if I can get a gen/VR hands first, if not, I'm going to try with your suggestion re. using the SH centre wheel!
