DW is too thin, why?

Trying to edit the post to say it is a fraction thinner but I’m happy enough but this forum is so crap on tapa these days!

Does the gmt mechanism work properly? Usually the gmt hand don’t follow the hour as u set up..

Yes indeed. DW has not changed, nor has the unparallel cyclops horizontal edges. Sorry bro, but I'm betting you'd take care of that anyway (or not worry about it as it's really a minor flaw that's on them all in this batch).

The SH3186 movement functions exactly like the gen with regard to hands movements and date flips. Forwards, backwards, everything. The rep movement isn't as reliable or robust as the gen of course and can benefit from the addition of some gen parts, particularly regarding GMT functions and the autowind reversing gears.

Definitely but what I meant is if you set up the hour hand at 12:00 and gmt at 3:00 you will see turning the crown clockwise that the gmt hand will not show a 90 degree angle ????

The GMT hand is on a wheel that rotates at half the rate of the hour wheel. There are two complete rotations of the hour hand for each one complete rotation of the GMT hand. So there will never be two exact angular relationships between the hands in a 24 hour period.

This is true for most GMT movements rep or gen, whether the GMT hand is independent or not. There are some Pam's that have an extra "GMT" hand that rotates at the same rate as the hour hand. I think it's a stretch to call these GMT models.

Marco1937 DW looks good in some 20s. Hoping the 24 and 28 are also improved.

I don't know what it is but the arf "2's" (especially in the twenties) look strange to me. On every model.

The cyclops upper and lower horizontal edges are not parallel, they diverge. It makes the cyclops look like it's crooked but you can't fix it by rotating the crystal. Yours is not as bad as some others but they all seem to have it.
