No prob for me, as I sell VR3135.. drop in one VR if the SA decided to take rest
I agree! Looks much more wearable on the wrist, than the new ARF version. Especially, as you said, if you take the price tags into consideration!
...still can't get over how ARF rips the DW in most of their pieces...

It would be a shame if the JF remains better than the new ARF...even in 904L. Hopefully the site pics were just a sample. I’m ordering one to compare the two. The DW is no surprise. Baffling they still have not change it.

VR has the gold colored balance staff shock absorber block and a blue hairspring. Easy ID.

I’m with everyone on this thread about how much of a bummer it is that these flaws are present on this release. With that said, I think that it’s interesting to note that ARF is essentially JF because they come from the same factory. It seems to me like they are just branding this release under ARF.
I’ve really been on the lookout for a good example of a Kermit, but my experience with the SH3135 in the past has been a nightmare. I’m thinking swapping in a VR3135 would knock out two birds with one stone by improving the DW and installing a more reliable movement.
Do you guys think this is worth the venture? Or should I wait for a non-Rehaut engraved version of the JF to pop up somewhere down the line?

Yes JF and ARF are the same factory. JF is in 316L where ARF is strictly 904L.
This is supposed to be a new run of the same JF we’ve had but in 904 this time. The photos on the PT site are pre-production samples. I can’t imagine they screwed up the JF goodness. We should get the same good pearl carried over from the JF.
I’m also told the production version will have a thinner DW font like other current SH3135. We’ll see soon with QC pics...
