That dial is an absolute stunner! If you don't mind me asking, what factory and when did you order?

Well, I think if anyone on RWI knows, it should be the one with the largest only-gen collection, so I won't disagree.I’m not encouraging it, but I’m stating as a fact that the watch in this pic can be presented as gen.
ZF V3. Bought this last year circa late November / early December. It arrived the day before Xmas eve. Perfect timing and a great little Xmas gift to myself. That dial is an absolute stunner! If you don't mind me asking, what factory and when did you order?
maybe thats the right way to describe it as fluid. How do you feel gen and rep bracelets compareI actually like my gen Royal oaks. The bracelet are nice. not sure what you meant by it felt bad.
If you are looking for something fluid and thin like nautilus then yea, but I really like AP’s bracelet.
I don’t have any AP reps …maybe thats the right way to describe it as fluid. How do you feel gen and rep bracelets compare

Why you ignoring me, bro? One. Single. Photo. Of. One. Gen. Untagged is fine.I actually like my gen Royal oaks. The bracelet are nice. not sure what you meant by it felt bad.

I believe that maybe the gen bracelets have a very fine finishing that goes beyond what the reppers are willing to invest in labor time. Otherwise, there would be no business for the modders offering bracelet finishing mods. Not familiar with gen 15500 bracelets, but I love the solid feel of these latest ZF's. My gen Datejust w/ jubilee bracelet is very fluid and smooth as butter which is nice, but there's something about the especially solid, industrial feel of the RO bracelets that I've really taken a liking to.
Steel Bracelets take some getting used to (rep or Gen). Offcourse Gen edges are less sharper but still can be uncomfortable with first wear, especially if you're used to rubber or leather straps. So just wear it well and admireI tried a friends gen ap and was shocked by how the bracelet felt, I was not impressed at all.
Then my ZF came in and I thought wow bracelet feels kinda bad... but I remember gen feeling like that too... its just been a while and im wondering if i am remembering wrong.
Anyone who has gen and rep or has held both recently can chime on how bracelet quality compares ? Or were not impressed with how gen bracelet felt ?
Comparing gen 155 to ZF V3 155, the bracelet has bevels on a slightly different angle, the brushing is slightly coarser, but imho its fine as it is. When I had my ZFv3 rebrushed by my guy that used to work for AP and actually does own the tools and machines that AP uses, even he said he wouldn't touch it. Bevels are imperceptible imho.I believe that maybe the gen bracelets have a very fine finishing that goes beyond what the reppers are willing to invest in labor time. Otherwise, there would be no business for the modders offering bracelet finishing mods.
However, I also believe that this difference in finishing is on a level that is not visible to the naked eye and only is different in the haptic experience.
When I compare gen photos to my 15500 ZF V3 bracelet, I can't visually make out any difference. But when touching, it feels like there's room for slight improvement. Not really too sharp, but somehow I suspect it's missing the final gen finesse.
Since I never touched the gen though, this is just an assumption and I could be wrong.
You won the lottery with this one mate, by far the best colour on v3 Ive seen so far.
Nope bro. Completely out of the box... not even had a simple service with a watch smith, let alone any mods done. You won the lottery with this one mate, by far the best colour on v3 Ive seen so far.
Im not sure, but I dont believe you had it refinished?
