I am in the midst of the order. I have not even received any APSF photos yet. The TD just informed me of the problems and asked if I would switch to APSF rather than ZF. I suspect the differences will be very minor but I can tolerate that issue for a watch that works.I meant if you had received the APSF yet. Would be nice to know what you think when it arrives.

This watch is to replace an Omega PO that all sorts of crown and then keless works issues.
Trying something different.

So you are getting a ZF 15500 but they said get the APSF instead because the ZF has issues??
I could have sworn Legend said ZF version is best. I could be wrong
Correct on all accounts. The ZF version was not working correctly but looked good.@letti001 seems to be talking about issues with function, not form. He can correct me if I'm wrong.
FWIW, I've thus far had four of these new ZF 15500s in-hand and all of them have worked beautifully on my end.
All of yours are ZF version 3 ?@letti001 seems to be talking about issues with function, not form. He can correct me if I'm wrong.

I wonder why he said the TD said ZF is not functioning well then.Have ZF v3, had it serviced, absolutely no issues, running great.
There have been reports by users of the mainspring slipping and not keeping PR properly.I wonder why he said the TD said ZF is not functioning well then.
Looks like @serumwhiskey 's ZF 15500 have been good, all 4 of them. There have been reports by users of the mainspring slipping and not keeping PR properly.
Little bit of spring brake solves this, so Im not sure why is it blown out of proportion either.
Maybe because that is the only... well not major, but I guess known... flaw of this model from ZF.
There were two models from the Trusted Dealer that did not pass a quality check to be sent. One with date problems and the other with keyless works issue.Looks like @serumwhiskey 's ZF 15500 have been good, all 4 of them.
I wonder what the % of the lemon is.
Spring brake? I can't do it myself can I?
All of yours are ZF version 3 ?
I'd say very small percentage.Looks like @serumwhiskey 's ZF 15500 have been good, all 4 of them.

Oh yea! Absolutely.I'd say very small percentage.
If you are comfortable working on watches, you definitely can. You just have to get to the main spring barrel, take the spring out, put the brake on the inner rim and put it all back together. Simple, ey?

I have asked the TD to find an APSF model that works well.
I may not know enough to really notice the cosmetic differences, but I wouls vertainly notice teh date wheel not working nor the keyless works.
I’m not encouraging it, but I’m stating as a fact that the watch in this pic can be presented as gen.
