Ok ok guys... Japanese guy from black rain died 83 of lymphoma... Now back to the watch! I'm excited to hear that some like the rep dial better even though it doesn't match the gen... I wonder what they are going to do or if they can improve the DW cutout... Hmmmm

Funny, how this photo of the strap gave rise to all this.
The gen OEM straps from AP are really superb, but not easily available (lead times are long sometimes, AP is no longer doing special stitching, etc.). Some of these aftermarket straps are also really superb in feel, construction and materials. I really highly regard Vic's work (I have 5 or 6 of his straps), and Jacob's work as well (I have a bunch of his as well). They represent better value than OEM (look at list price for LW or AP straps), and have design and construction peculiarities that lend them a special, unique quality. It is great that you can custom design these straps, like I did with this one, and select your own hides. The fact that they are hand-made has no influence, bad or good, on final quality: there are some good handworkers, and some less good. To put these straps on the same level as rep straps, even the good new ones from J12, is a step I would not take.

Anyway, there will be loads of new ROO´s in the pipeline for you to ease the pain of selling the Schumi. At least you tried.
Anyone here have the gen Schumacher LE Titanium and can do a side-by-side pic to proof the dial color is too dark???
