I think we'll all be pleasantly surprised with the Schumi build when it's released it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when now. There's been a great deal of work put into making this piece as many know. As for the GP FC as Jamz mentioned there are some improvements which need to be addressed which I'm positive are being considered. J12 has been hitting home runs and even when things aren't as perfect as expected unlike other makers they tend to revise quick enough to deliver a better product. This maker is taking this hobby to much higher levels than we've seen in past years and as in all great things worth having it takes time to get everything right. Have faith in the end the results are well worth the wait as history has proven with J12.

but the real question is: Do you know if they have the Gen handy for it ? Otherwise it will be prone to the same problems especially with Tachy and Dial. I see only a solution : them liaising with you or Zorro To nail the F.cker

I hope they will rep the platinum one first as that is the easiest to do as is the rose gold. The red dial is the most complicated but def worth getting as well!
I have not heared about the GP beeing re-issued ... but great news if so!
AND FOR THE TOPIC:
In case of the Schumi, the factory has the gen in hands, so the repping is way easier and can lay emphasis on smaller details we are all so picky about. I do not worry about the accuracy as I know they´ll nail it! The prototype was just sooo convincing (and that was 2 months ago). Some members here (and on other boards) stayed in contact with the factory (indirect via a TD) and announced everything the rep-community could probably count as a fail or flaw.

Shouldn't that always be the case?! I mean how can you replicate a watch without having the real thing in hand?! Why they even bother trying without it is beyond me!
I know gen Ap aint cheap but I think a factory can afford buying one which they can easily sell later for minimal loss.
I agree that it is hard to replicate a watch without having the gen in Hands. But there are some reasons for not acting so:
1) the rep-community on this and others specialised boards is tiny compared to the market for reps (and that is canal street like or buying a Turkey-rep, a Spain-beach-rep ..). We are the minority that will ever get in contact with reps that look 90% like a gen. Normal rep-customer has no idea and gets what he thinks Looks cool. So there is no real reason to get a Standard rep 100% Close to gen with buying the real deal as a "mold".
2) IF the factory gets the gen to replicate, they Need to disassemble the watch to it´s parts ... case, strap, movement, Crystal, dial, tachy, .... as there is not one factory doing all parts but several factories replicating Special parts of the watches! In the end you Need to get all parts back for re-assembly. And so there is a big chance to fail and NOT get every part back. Conclusion; you cannot count the re-sale of the gen into your Project. This means a big chunk of $$$ will go into the work without the guarantee for pay-back.
This is my Observation and knowledge for beeing on the boards (RG, RWG, old RWG) since 12 years.
