Topic.....why wait solong for release?
It takes so long as the factory depends on many other, smaller factories who deliver parts that need special design. Dial and its print are not that easy, cermet bezel is an advantage in manufacturing, black datewheel with red and correct font is first time done here (and you need to do datewheel, font, size and cyclops 100% to see and read the date correctly).
I have not seen any pics of the caseback and movement yet, so that will be another hurdle to pass.
The sample looked gorgeous , beside, date, hands and the caseback.

Anyway, October should be our AP-festivity month, let the party start.

I am assuming he just means the engravings and what not. There is no way they made a decorated 7750.

... I just looked up the date where I saw the prototype of the Schumacher LE and remembered that production time (for mass production) will take 3 months .... so this is why "we wait so Long" ... actually we did not wait longer than for any other high end rep ... the difference here is just "we k´new too early about the Schumi beeing made".

Regarding the bezel ... I was told it is real cermet, nothing else than a mixture of ceramic and steel.

I think J12 has learned from recent uncharacteristic missteps to get everything perfect before release, hence the slow release of Schumi. There are some real challenges with the Schumi design which require slow development from any factory. The photos I have seen have been very promising. Indeed, on their basis I thought J12 were near finished. Clearly they are striving for high quality here.
