Could anyone direct me to getting a new champagne DWO? Last I heard, only BK was selling it.
The current DWO on the movement is only center aligned for half a month, and for the other half a month, its left aligned. My OCD sense is tingling..

I finally got my hands on a frankened WM9 with the following parts:
Gen crystal
Gen insert
Gen crown
Swiss ETA movement
Softened case
:wowa:

Thank you everyone for your kind replies! Will get it from BK, seeing as he seems to be the only reliable source.

Thanks a lot Q for this awesome thread, it's inspired me to try a highly-modded, smaller-budget build.

I'm doing the assembly myself, so my goal is to minimize the amount of shoehorning I have to do to make everything compatible and slowly convert my watch.

I'd like to buy a 166xx watch and start by replacing the dial with my gen/refurb serti dial.

Cannot wait to see the outcome my friend. Hope all is well

Thanks buddy! I hope you had a great Christmas. I'm currently thinking that the most affordable option is to start with a TC Signature Sub and slowly start modding that - I still haven't decided whether I'm going LN or bluesy though, and I'll find out whether I can pull a serti dial off.

Holidays were great my friend. I had a cheapo certi dial that I loved. Also had both bluesy and 16613LN. Wish I didn't get rid of those. All beautiful pieces. With your collection i would suggest a 16613LN

I regret not buying both those watches.

To the top, seems to be a lot of people interested in Bluesy builds these days...

I hate to ask, but what's WM9? I read a lot & there's many mentions to WM9 cases, but who/where do I find it? I've used the search to no avail.

WM9 is long out of production. BK did a very limited run of WM9 TT Subs some time ago. Occasionally the come up in the sales section. Expect to pay a minimum of a grand. They're the only quality TT Sub you can get ahold of these days.

SS and both TT WM9 Subs. Like an idiot, I sold them long ago. Regret it big time.
