A guide to 16613 builds /FRANKENING

I know a BP wasn't listed under the case portion in your guide, but doesn't BPs accept gen parts? Reason I ask is because I'm slightly looking to franken a bit (not a whole lot yet, would rather use a better base) a BP 16613 I'm getting soon.

If BP was a good base, I would've mentioned it.
Every 16613 except for the WM9 sucks ass and will be a PITA to franken. Believe me.

If I only wanted to do a light project such as only changing the bracelet, bezel, and insert, would that be as much as a PITA?

What bracelet you gonna use? I doubt you have found a WM9.
If you're going gen bezel for 1.5k, it's better to build anyway.

I was going for a WSO wrapped or Riyi wrapped one until I can get a solid gold one from WSO for around $700-800.

I've made the experience that the wrapped bracelets aren't worth it. I've had some here and most of them began to flake rather quick. It's wasted money imho and better put that money towards the solid gold bracelet.

So you think it's best to work with the bracelet that's coming with the watch until I can just pretty much get the solid gold bracelet? I would definitely like to get the WSO one, but it seems it doesn't have a SEL (?) - https://www.ebay.com/itm/310304841448

Yup. And yup. No SEL for the WSO bracelet. You'd have to shoot a WM9 bracelet and replace the first link with the SEL of the WM9 bracelet if you're really keen on going SEL. Or go gen 93253.

Lmfao sh*t, just remembered though that the 16613 I'm getting has rehaut engraving [emoji24] - lol may just focus on getting a ST then or the WSO would work since I personally wouldn't be bothered if it didn't have a SEL

Que knows exactly what he is talking about. The only stock copy case is the WM9 version. If not you need to get a TC case or a phong case. Startime is an amazing case if you can get use to the stubby crown guards. Bezel? Plenty of real ones with inserts on EBay for under $1000. If you can't afford that then WSO solid 18k is the next best thing. Star time would be next but it has a small lip that drove me nuts and I brought a real full bezel assembly.
Listen to Que. people try and try to build 16613 with other parts and they look like crap. I have seen them on here and I just don't comment. Rude too. Simple rules with it.
