Well, I think it might be a little bit too late but you should take a look at this thread

I have watched a couple threads like this one but not as well put together as this and yep wish I did watch this first 😂 I would have known to countersink after drops v my cobalt nuke on those crow gaurds 😂 but hey listen it’s trial and error for me and I’m having fun in the process and I go buy the old saying if you bend it mend it 😂 👍

I thought leaving the dents and scratches on the watch to the ends of the lugs face of the crystal I thought it was minor so leave it for age related loom 😂 as I get better at polishing I can fix them easy peasy 🤫🤐

Done some light shaving of the crown gaurds and fitted the new end peices and Rolex fatbars another wee bit of polishing I would say it’s looking better and getting there

This is obv a work in progress and a long way from finished as I am an amateur on polishing I know it’s rough but bare with me it will look better in the long run / next I am going to attempt some ageing of the bezel insert and the dial markers and hands using a method of bleaching the insert overnight and using tea staining for the markers and hands 🙌 the main thing troops is I’m having fun 🤩

Why are you wearing a winter jacket inside?

You're wearing fucking slides.

Decide if it's hot or cold please

A lot comes off quickly when you bleach an insert, just a heads up you might want to try a few minutes then rinse it and dry it to check the effects before leaving it as long as overnight

Yep that sounds about right 🫡
The sliders I’m afraid are actually widely accepted as a go to in eny weather here in Scotland especially with guys like myself who have spent a lot of time in prison and don’t have eny fashion sense 😂 but yep I should have just stuck to focusing on photos of the watch instead of what I had pulled on to take the dogs out at late o’clock at night 😆👍

It does work, but like I say a lot more comes off than you actually think, you can’t judge it when it’s in the bleach only after the rinse and dry. I’d only rub it lightly and not for too long, or you might get it a lot more washed out than you want it to be
