Think I have finished my crown guards to a standard I like and as my first attempt I’m happy with a small bit of polishing to take the scuffs out and it will look mint I think also done another round of 400 grain sandpaper on the case just enought to leave a light bit of the satin look on the arms bearing in mind I am doing this watch to a standard I want and like and not trying to match want other watch on display on this site becouse for one I dnt have the skill or experience to match so this is my creation judge it knowing this is my first ever attempt at modding and I have loved every bit of it and this will be my daily ticker until I move on to another project 😝 GMT VIBES

Small tip.
When you dilute the bleach, use medium hot water and put the container outside in sunlight (i know that’s a challenge in UK 🤣 but a UV lamp works too)

You can give the insert a dip in nail varnish remover, this will attack the paint coating and ease the work og the bleach
Thanks for the tip Karbon74 I can wait till next summer to try this here in Scotland 😂 only kidden I have a ufo lamp from some gardening endeavour I used to have a tickle in 😜 I think this would suffice 👍
