The typical replica 116610 seconds hand has a better front taper and correct circle sizes for the lume circle, middle circle, and the rear circle.

In comparison, the rafflestime seconds hand has a larger lume circle and larger rear circle compared to gen. The taper isn't as sharp either and the overall width is wider than gen.
Oh my. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it:)
Thanks a lot for your insight.
So for all four hands, what would be your favorite aftermarket solution/mix at the moment?

I try to use gen hands whenever possible. TC sub hands are also nice for vintage builds. If not, rafflestime sub hands are acceptable to me.

116610 seconds hands is a nice bonus When combined with rafflestime sub hands.

Ultimately, nothing beats gen sub hands if you know what tell-signs to look for.

Where are people sourcing the ETA movement ring adapters for these Milk cases? I don’t see them on Yuki’s site anymore.

Helenarou?

Can confirm, I just installed Helenarou's in a Milk case with a HZ6460 movement ETA clone. Had to do some sanding of the ring for it to fit properly as it was initially .x mm lo large but it was a very small adjustment needed.

Perfect, thanks! Who did you source your crown/tube from?

My milk case arived today. Shipping was very fast and without complications. Thanks to Milk again for the good service.
Question to the community:
Did someone of you pressure thest the case? As well as seen in pis above the groove for the caseback sealing seems a little deep. maybe its fine, maybe il get a slightly bigger gasket or maybe it is my own angsiety :D so far i heard no complains, its just a question out of interest and no jab against milk

cheers

I found that the crystal on the v2 caused problems - the Sternkrautz 1675 crystal's just kept cracking and @Solution6 had a nightmare trying to sort out a fix.

Sternkreutz sell 2 ref' 116 crystals, with different wall thickness and different ID's. Only 1 will fit a 1675 case.

My hunch is the stem height of the DG3804 might make it impossible to be used in a Gen-spec case like Milky’s. I have a hunch that’s why no one has jumped in to say they’ve done it.

It can be done but it's a tight fit.

Thanks @tripdog for the info. Good to know. Wondering which one though? The 300 or 302?

Finished my Milk build last night as well. Great case! I went with a “freshly back from a RSC” look.

I too am going for an aged look with no major abuse. Also made a new watch holder with the money I didn't spend on a genuine.

That was a joke. But the v2 Milk case is pretty nice. If I was forced to complain about something, the actual bezel could fit on the retaining ring a "cunt hair" tighter. Also could've left the crown guards larger for those that want to do it their own way.

But with that said, it's so easy as a "plug 'n play" to simplify things. I have nothing but compliments in the end.

Dial is from Raffles? 2836 movement I guess no?
I have a Milk case on the way!

I guess, does the movement include the ring holder?
Thanks!

What's everyone using for a tube? I bought this from Clark and the tube will not screw in, seems to be the wrong thread pitch? This after I ordered this from Germany but never received.
I had tube issues with the Athaya tube I received. It would not thread tightly into the case, felt stripped. I ended up using a cheap Asian tube with the Athaya crown and that worked great.

It is a Yuki dial from a few years back I’ve been sitting on. Yes, using an Asian 2836 movement with a helenarou movement ring. The ring needed some sanding along the outside edge to fit. Hands are a mix of Raffles and Aliexpress (Raffles hour hand seemed to be the wrong size for the ETA pinion and was too loose). Using a Clark Tropic 16 crystal that fits great. Insert is a cheap eBay one with fat font that is slightly too small and needed to glued to the bezel. I hope that helps!
