Thank You very much, dear friend. My little gift for my 50 is working....
1) The Milk v2 doesn't necessarily need work on the crown guards, but some people may reshape them for a specific look. They are a good amount smaller than on the V1 and are slightly polished. It's a good trade off for most, but it's hard to make them sharper if you wanted a New Old Stock look.

2) I'm not sure what crystal, but I think I used the 300.158. I'll need to find a spare and measure it to confirm. There's a chance I used the 462-18F so I'm not 100% positive.

3) For the crown I have used generic replacement tubes with both generic crowns and genuine crowns. All 5.3mm.

What exactly is your d

Excellent to hear! I was only 75% confident at the time you ordered.
Can't believe I forgot... I also ordered another crystal on the recommendation of another member here. It doesn't have the iconic bevel around the edge like the 300.158, but there's a slight bevel with a perfectly placed cyclops.

I prefer the shape of of 300.158, but if a perfect cyclops placement is more important, this one is closer.
Dear, can you post the difference?

I honestly cannot get the date wheel overlay to sit right. I've purchased two from raffles dials and both times it came back from my watch maker, most of the dates are severely left justified. Is there a better option? Sorry for the noob question.

Ho deciso di partire con la build.
1) 2836 dal vecchio Noob Chs 116710
2) Custodia Milk V2
3) Quadrante Yuki Matte White Lume + lancetta Yuki Master Lume 1675
4) dw polipex (Silver and 6 & 9 open)

Per inserire. Un Milk Insert è buono. C'è un'alternativa? Yuki? Altre opzioni?
Per il vetro il migliore allineato?
QQualcuno ha da vendere qualcosa?

I'm having issues with finding the right crystal for the Milk v2 case.

Tried:

- Clarks 25-116
- Speedtimercollection (Ebay). Imo the best looking crystal available based on heigth and bevel. It fits the Raffles case, but is to wide for the Milk v2
- Sternkreuz XS300.158 or XS300.158 II (cyclop is off)
- Aliexpress
- Ebay "Vetro plexy per 25-116 Rolex Crystal Glass Uhrenglas Verre 1675 16750" (hardly any bevel and quite high).

Not tried:

Vietnam plexi from Ruby

I've done quite some research (and spending) but I just can't seem to find the right crystal.

The last posts about a proper crystal have been from a while ago already, so I was wondering if someone has an update on the 'perfect' crystal for the Milk v2 case.

I just replaced my crystal last week on my V2 with this and it fit great.

Remember that the 1675 has a 1520/1570 date position, so it might not have the same 3135 date position that 99% of vintage replica dials right now.
This is always a frustration, but I've never measured to see of there are differences. Can anyone confirm or disconfirm?

I just received the Milky GMT case 2.0 (new and improved), for a 1675 project I'm slowly tackling. I wanted to post up a few pictures & share some of my initial thoughts, as well as highlight some of the updates and improvements with this new batch!

Firstly here are some pics of the case on its own.

These will replace the previous generation of case sets by Milky. Despite all the improvements the price remains the same at $250. Its much cheaper than VN options & I can say confidently the quality is more or less on par with the more expensive alternatives.

First detail I noticed is the midcase profile & caseback is much thinner than the previous batches. This is now a much truer "gen spec" midcase. In addition to this improvement, Milky also ensured the tolerances for both the rehaut and bezel are correct to take gen spec parts. The crystal pictured was pressure fitted, without the need for any additional adhesives. I did not have a gen spec insert to try but I've been told the insert will 'snap' into the bezel correct as with gen (edited)

Another change that was made this time around, the case is now native to accept genuine calibre 1575. This means it can still be fitted with an ETA but will require another movement adapter. It also means this is a really excellent case option if planning a high-end franken project. I'm slowly sourcing a 1575 calibre to potentially build for my project

The final, and by far best imrovement made to this batch is the crown guards. The previous case was intentionally designed with extra material around the CG's in order to be hand-finished into PCG's or SCG's depending on preference. This resulted in a lot of extra work needing to be done. The new case set has proper, proportional, regular crown guards. Perfectly acceptable for late 1960's and onwards models (Matte dial Mk1 etc).

The profile of the CGs are excellent, and even the bevel edge of the lugs look really good with a slight softened edge to appear lightly repolished.

For the next parts of the build am considering between a gen Mk2 dial (my favorite) or a Vietnam printed Mk1 dial with Tiffany stamp..

Will try to continue updating on this, but wanted to share the initial case set and its improvements
Sorry to resurrect an old thread but can I ask what crystal you used with this?

Cheers
