Yes mate, i agree, there are differences in the cases of the ones in the thread so far. However I would consider case dimensions second to both dial and bezel inaccuracies that exist at this moment. If the Noobfactory could come up with the correct dial/bezel colouring and release it in the same case as the black and blue versions they would be on to a winner.

Agree that the case is secondary to dial and bezel. But what I am talking about is that the Time Shop LV case looks like it has the properly thick lugs and square case, as opposed to the GMT-c case. The factories did the convenient thing by using the GMT-c case instead of producing a new, accurate case for the sub-c. I have not seen any other sub-c that have the accurate sub-c case. So I am wondering whether anyone else noticed this, or am I just wrong?

If there is in fact a rep that uses the right case for the sub, that is a big deal for future reps!

The only thing that screams to me is the lack of a sunburst dial. But the rest of it actually looks pretty dang good.

The cyclops is definitely a notch above what we are used to seeing. Sadly the Black Sub with these so called 'improvements' isn't available, yet.

One thing that really bothers me is that the factories go to great lengths to try to improve this model over the previous versions yet they seem to over look some of the stupidest little details that throw this watch way off... Look at the hologram markings on the back of the case, there is no reason why "750" and whatever that other stamp is on there..

It´s very hard to make a judgement on color. These photos are too poor to tell. What i can tell is that the bezel inlay rides far to high.

Yep. Correct rehaut alignment on this new model.
Overall it looks pretty good. The dial is still the primary give away.

Hmmm, I may have to transplant my 116610 LN to that case. Do you know if the noob factory has addressed the rehaut engraving on the black ceramic sub?

Hopefully this is the first of a new line of noob ceramic subs. AR on cyclops, aligned rehaut engraving, decent looking pearl. Not going to take much else to make this into a damn decent superrep.

The cyclops is too far right, much like the old subs, the dial looks off, the SEL fit is not as good as noob subs, and the case is stamped 18K or whatever it says back there.....last, the engravings in the clasp look like laser etched versus deeper but that is always easy to swap. I would not even use this case for transplant just for the cyclops position and the stamping

This watsh is 100% dial. All the other things can be corrected. As long as the dial is off. . I´m not interested.

You know yourself that with a bit of tweeking even a cheaper sub can be made to look damn good. Something like the dial has to be spot on, and in this case the bezel insert as well since they are both so key to the look of this watch. Bracelets can be swapped over, finding that perfect fit for the SEL, same with the clasp. Cyclops can be removed and reset if you're so inclined.

To me, i'd rather have a case with a good rehaut engraving than worry about a hallmark stamp.

Perhaps this case is meant for the Smurf version where hallmarks are correct.

Here they are wrong because the Gen is not a gold watch. It's a shame that the rep makers do not know when and why hallmarks should be there.

Asked him if we can expect the watch September/October, he said:
