There are some aspects of it that really look good. Some that are poor. It almost looks like the springbars are gen size as well. But the insert is pretty poor.

I think that what we are seeing is part of Rolex strategy, to make the pieces so difficult to replicate that it will be hard to make them unless you have very expensive equipment.

They will get there eventually, but it will take a while before we see a watch worth buying. Remember the DEEPSEA drama; my guess is that we will see that very same story all over again.

Never cared for the old LV, but this is a stunner of a watch an I WANT IT NOW!!!

looks weird naked like that I guess that's the only way they can sell reps on Ebay

No, it's technically a homage. A completely sterile case with no Rolex branding or markings. It's very big business. It's the mid point between buying the gen and buying the rep.

Unfortunately the insert is not so good. Well, the pearl is awful but the colour of the insert is better than some. At least it looks ceramic. However, I do know that Angus at Puretime said they are still working on getting a correct colour ceramic bezel for this watch so I've got my fingers crossed!

BK told me the Noob factory is working on getting the colors right for him this as well - hope it's soon !!

Found some amazing pics of the "real model" of this watch on the bay - knowing your a big fan as well I am posting them here,

and the MONEY shot - look at the detail of the face and you can clearly see the true color of the bezel -it doesn't have ANY metallic look to it like the ebay sellers does - one killer watch !!

metal surrounds on hour markers are massively too thick.
what is with that bezel insert? definitely not carved numerals in ceramic.

only thing good i can see now is the Rolex branding on the clasp.

I too think the dial markers are way too thick. I like the sunburst, the pearl, the color, and i thoight thy crystal hight was pretty good.

Honestly, unless you're desperate to get one I would hold off until the rep factories sort the ceramic bezel colour. I've heard from both Angus and BK that they are currently working on it.

A few pages back someone commented on the continued use of the GMT-IIc case for the sub. Did anyone notice that the TS version seems to use the correct, blockier case? I've been staring at it, and it looks like a different case.
