I am not an expert, but I thi k the HBB Black Magic is tits! I recently recieved one and love it. I have it on a gen rubber strap, and I have a gen ceramic bezel heading my way.

Cheers for the reply. I had a look at the Black Magic varieties and struggled to pin point an exact one.
Which Black Magic do you have? Is it the one with the numbers on the dial (which I believe I read was the older gen model)?

Also - on Ryan's website I notice under v6 there are a number of 2011 ones - is this a reference to the collection or are the Rep models less accurate than the ones without the reference to 2011?

Just got my QS's for HBB All Black II and I'm a bit confused.

It seems to me that date wheel color is too light and doesn't match the gen (which is more dark naturally).

Am I right or it's only a photo/lightning/etc effect?

I'm a complete newbie but that was definitely the first thing I spotted - the date wheel is black in the Gen and white/black on the Rep. Shame because it would have been awesome besides for that.

Mine is the v6 without the numbers on the dial. It is the full ceramic modle.
Sorry for the poor picture quality.

i posted some qc pics of the ice bang i ordered and the comparison pic a made a while ago:
http://bit.ly/1ohZfkp

first i ordered the "best edition" because of the better dial and the tungsten bezel, but finally i went for the V6 version due to its better movement...
i also added pics from the jewellers window where the gen can be seen.

Wow - I have just spent a good 3-4 hours reading through this thread (and jumping from TD's websites and Hublot's website). Honestly, all I can take away for now is a headache (and that Ale appears to be a genius) - there is just so much to absorb.
I was trying to determine is what is the best HBB Rep out there at the moment if anyone has a quick answer to this?

Thanks for the wealth of information!

IMHO the best are:

SS/SS with stick markers
SS/black ceramic bezel "old" model with numerals
After those:
SS/black ceramic bezel with stick markers

hi, i bought a hublot icebang II from below:
http://www.tswatchltd.com/8055-hb24...ack-dial-cer-tung-ru-asian-7750-28800bph.html

when i received it, i notice a problem, althought it is said to have same A7750 movement, the crown is said to be push in crown, but the normal A7750 screw down crown that i assume they should be the same on this watch.

So this cause a problem, leaving a gap even u pushed the whole thing in, and i am very worried with water going-in issue... anyone can share? possible to shorthen the thing and adding maybe gasket?

The crown lock system doesn't depend on movement but the watch case design. Some watches have screwed crown, others jut push down crown.
The waterproofing is assured in the same way talking about gen watches
Gen HBB are the same as your replica.

You cannot assure waterproofing in replicas without a WP test and service made by an specialist

No this position is not normal
Crown tube should not be seen as above pic shows
You need to consult with your dealer or with a friend watchsmith

In normal conditions if you wash your hands of even you wet the watch slightly there will be no problems, but you need to push the crown completely

thanks a lot for your kind reply, will send the watch back TD.

You can try to put the crown in its place pushing the crown release button in the movement and at the same time pushing gently the crown to get it in its place. Maybe it works.

You can see the release button in third pic of below thread explaining how remove a crown with its stem:
http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=23399

You would need to open the caseback removing the caseback screws, being careful with the inner rubber gasket

You will lose nothing trying it

Hello from London,

I've been following this thread for some time now, but unfortunately I'm still a noob when it comes to reps. I'm looking to buy my first rep HBB and in a nutshell would I be correct in saying that the V6 (mkII or 6.5) however you like to call it is more accurate in the way it looks but the V6 has a more reliable movement?

Also, have some of the TD sites been taken down? A few of them aren't working for me, not sure if anyone's experiencing the same thing.

movements are all the same. improvements are on cosmetic.

Most TD can get you whichever you need, just mention which link you saw on whatever web link.

@kaiser_soze: I'm in London as well and have just received my 2x HBBs V6 (mk II) from 2x different TDs here on RWI.
One RG/Cer with numerals
Photo here:
hatytetu.jpg

And one SS/Cer with numerals. And I think I am in love with this one!

Luckily I ordered them each with an accompanying Hublot Boxset.
One was sent DHL and the other EMS.

My experience:
DHL delivery within just a few days with accurate tracking and carefully handled package.
EMS delivery slower and with obvious signs of mistreatment. Hublot Box was broken completely (luckily the watch survived!)
Here is the box as delivered by EMS:
jahe5yge.jpg

So I will personally insist on DHL tracked for next order...
Hope it helps

@ALE7575:
THANK YOU for your fabulous contribution!!! You deserve an Award. I have added rep points to you of course and would off added a million of them if the system allowed adding more points per post.
Well done and thank you for your generous share to help and assist us all
