Hey guys here are some comparison shots with an hublot big bang limited gold vs. V6 except for de AR it is darn accurate. More pictures can be found here:

Height in crytal is pretty darn good on V6

Rubber inserts on the chrono buttons are pretty acurate too! Only the middle rubber insert on gen is shiny?? Maybe because it is limited..?

difference in AR is obvious.

Not noticable on pics but H-screws are a bit more "edgy" not noticable however when there is no gen to compare to.

greetings,.

The AR on the gen is slightly greenish. And the AR of the V6 is really blue. The rubber strap is a BIG difference. On the gen it is way more soft then on the V6 it is way more comfortable to wear. The clasp is identical and really good on the V6. But i may have missed a issue as i didn't compare the clasp as thoroughly as the rest.

Greetings,

I believe that the gen AR could also be different from badge to badge. My gen HBB did not have
Greenish AR, it was colorless.

I agree with guru
As many times happen in gen Hublots you can have differences from different batches.

Just had colourless double AR put on my HBB RG, the crystal is higher than gen but it still looks amazing.

Looking at it straight on you'd honestly think you could touch the dial.

Question: how do u change the strap on the HBB? I unscrewed the screw heads on each side and the head just comes off... On both sides! Leaving a tube looking piece inside.... I'm puzzled!

I'm on a roll today :D
After changing the HBB crystal here:
http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=121801
I got another envelope in the mail today.
A Veyron croco strap (Thanks MEYER8888).
A few days ago a member asked for directions how to change a HBB strap so I took some pictures along the way.
This might come in handy when Veyron release his Gummy croc :D
The tools i used
veyron_001.jpg

Some spare parts is always good to have when working with reps..
veyron_002.jpg

Start by removing the buckle
veyron_003.jpg

veyron_004.jpg

Then use a H screwdriver to remove these H screws
veyron_005.jpg

After that the plate will come right of
veyron_006.jpg

Be sure to store everything in a safe place
veyron_007.jpg

The strap will just slide out
veyron_008.jpg

Now to the tricky part. Getting the new strap in place.
Use something hard and pointy in the holes in the case and try to get the holes in the strap.
Work the strap up by gently wiggle it in place.
Be carefull so You dont mess up the threads in the case.
veyron_009.jpg

After some cursing and kicking of small defenceless animals You will get the screws back in place.
veyron_010.jpg

You will end up with something like this

The rep rubber strap looks great, but its nice with a change now and then :)

Has anyone gone ahead and aftermarket ar'ed their ab green? I am curious to see if the better ar makes the green look closer to gen.

Tia.
