He moved the crown from the case and put in a high beat 6497-2 movement

The 177L is also from Sead with the same mods, but I think he did better on the crown spacing on the 177. On a darker Dirk.

No, not really in terms of smoother swep.
But I opted for it anyway for some piece of mind.
The 6497-2 from the old 111H is a reliabel workhorse while the old low beat 6497-1 is.. well, an old movement that nobody uses anymore before H-factory decided to get rid of old stock and keep price down
When the day come to sell them I will get back the extra money spend (I hope)..
