tarbucks supports men and women in uniform. They have personally contacted me and I have been sent many copies of their company's policy on this issue. So I apologize for this quick and wrong letter that I sent out to you.

Starbucks is no stupid.. they responded as they HAD to respond.. there would never have been an issue if they had been upfront
from the beginning
just my opinon

they fulla crap

bah I looked at the map again and that's not even all the Starbux kiosks located in most of the downtown hotels.

I'll take a venti half-caff double shots low-fat caffe latte with no foam.

Fakie if your in the CBD or French Quarter of Nawlins you find a way to get the Cafe' for the Beignet's babe! Otherwise it's Community brand coffee wherever you go. Sure you might find some Shi tbucks but if you want coffee Community is the local brand of choice. Also the donut shops are mom and pop nowadays or a brand by the name of Tastee Donuts. All the big brands of donuts have come and gone only to resurface and fail from time to time. SOSDD. I hope you enjoyed your stay in the Big Easy!

I hate starbucks more than the devil. What ever happened to small, medium and large, what is this tall, grande and venti bullshit. who the fuck decided that honey is an ingredient in cappuccino, or orange for that matter?

They have taken something that is holy (coffee), and made it unholy. They took what my people invented (espresso and cappuccino), and made it into a joke.

I know the end of the world is near because now McDonalds is going to start serving lattes. Dear god.

The next time I hear someone say they want a "low fat vanilla macchiato with no foam, and a little whip cream, made with non dairy soy milk and fair trade grown arabica coffee" is going to get kicked in the sack.

bastards...

me wonder why is good not to support people that voted..

obvious they thinking people not as smart as they be..

ok, they do have right, and they right says

other peoples all wrongo..

Not true Klink, my friend...

They do actually support the troops (at least the Starbucks here in Colorado Springs). You can purchase bags of coffee, and Starbucks will ship it free, to Iraq or Afghanistan..... See, if you pay a $50 for a bag of coffee, "joe" at some Forward Operating Base will eventually get it (if the staff doesn't keep it for the Battalion Commander)

Yeah well starbucks still blows whether they support the troops or not. fifty bucks for a bag of coffee?? they should be sending that coffee over for free for the work the troops are doing.

in canada, we set up a tim hortons right on the base in kandahar. you would be surprised how many americans, danes, dutch and other countries frequent it.

you know what, now that i think of it, i bet if we let the al quaida try some real timmies coffee, maybe with a crueler, hook up some satellite tv with some good ol' hard core porn, maybe, just maybe they will stop bombing the f@ck out of everyone...

I lived there for several years and just left about 8 months ago. Coffee does not seem to be the norm in crescent city. You see more drive through Daiquiri shops than drive up coffee houses  although there was a Krispy kreme on clearview, Tastee was always packed and seemed harder to get into and right across the street. And the Beignet's.... talk about shutting down all progress, just walk into work with a bag full of warm powder sugar drenched pastries and see what happens. Those are the true definition of you cant just eat one.

But back to starbucks.. I hate and love them at the same time. I would prefer my coffee from a small vendor since SB has become the Mickey D's of coffee and is now starting to taste like it. I will say, that while i was living in Seattle there was a great starbucks in front of the mall in down town that was all glass. I believe that was a starbucks. That was so many years ago. I also remember when they were nothing more than a coffee stand on every corner in Seattle. Its just another sign on our American pop culture, now standing in line with Mickey Mouse, McDonald's, and Walmart, helping to push apple pie, baseball and the pickup truck out of the way.

I must be one of the only people who hates coffee (and basically all hot drinks).
