Well isn’t that because the endlink are not removable on a gen 116519?

They are removable. Same construction on the more recent ones. I believe earlier models pre-oysterflex, leather strap versions were constructed slightly different, but still removable as well. Just needed to remove the bezel to get them to come off.

I already posted pics of my 116519 without bezel.

I believe some of the old Noob cases had the end links fixed to the case.

But Cleans use a secondary set of spring bars to secure the end links.

Reps from clean, among others reflect the newer style gen construction. The bezel locked endlinks are older gen construction.

Okay, so the only difference between 116519 and 116509 would be the extra set of springbar holes on the 116519

These are just friction fit but they do come with double-sided tape strips. However that creates a tiny gap so a small blob of GSHypo cement makes strap fitting easier. Not required though.

A TD is almost always a sure bet. Ali Express has several, this one looks the best.

Where might I find the correct one.i remember I got a Gen smooth bezel for a DJ once didn't fit onto a clean Dj case,got a feeling it's going to be the same for the BTF Daytona
