Some very positive news today, after a long wait, literally months in the making, another one of my builds has been completed!

The 116509 tahitian MOP dial, specs are:

Clean 116509 base
Deep xtal
SW tahitian MOP dial

And to top it off, my CF 116519 panda racing dial finally arrived also. I just need to find a nice racing strap for it, or a brown gator, and it'll be perfect:

Are the endlink removable from the case, or part of the case? (On the racing dial)

I'm not 100% sure mate, I always thought they were fixed. When I first joined the forum I remember asking this exact question, as I wanted a Daytona that I could switch between on a bracelet and on oysterflex. I was told that it's best to go with a bracelet model as the endlinks are attached to the bracelet, meaning you can remove the bracelet and use removable endlinks to install an OF band.

With the oysterflex models, I was told the endlinks are fixed in place meaning you could not put it on a bracelet. This may be wrong; I was told this 2-3 years ago and so things may have changed since. I'll have a look for you when I'm home :)

I believe some of the old Noob cases had the end links fixed to the case.

But Cleans use a secondary set of spring bars to secure the end links.

Thanks bud, that was exactly what I was looking for :)

So based on the above info with double spring bars, I’m guessing it would be impossible to fit a steel bracelet to the 116519 because of wrong spring bar hole position on the case?

I believe the secondary spring bar holes do not affect the primary spring bar holes.

Color me stupid but didn't Clean make full bracelet variants of the 116509? So maybe a dial swap or someone needs to test the 116509 bracelet on the 116519 model from Clean.

So you can put a bracelet on a 116519 but you can’t use the 116519 end links on a 116509.

Well that makes sense. I would rather use a 116519 and have the option of putting a bracelet on, then having a 116509 with aftermarket endlinks that might not be a perfect fit

A gen precious metal oyster bracelet wont fit a gen 116519. I assumed it was the same with CF all this time. Ill try mine later.

Well isn’t that because the endlink are not removable on a gen 116519?
