Ok, it seems that Miyota comes up a lot when talking about the Asian Movement Breitling SFSO (you can use the Miyota 8215) .

I cannot upload the .pdf's here for download, instead you can download them directly from their website.
Your adobe acrobat will want to update it's Japanese language pack so it can properly translate them to English for you.

You can view the spec sheets on all of the Miyota movements here: http://www.citizen.co.jp/miyota_mvt/download/index.html

Ok I found some info on the 0S20 and it says it's a battery operated movement. Could their be an auto movement in this as well?

Nope OS20 is their standard chrono quartz movement.

Little known fact of the day it's the same one used in Barack Obama's Secret Service watch.

I bought a Breitling Bentley Motors Chrono 6mos.ago that was supposed to have a Miyota auto movement. After sitting in my drawer for a month, because I had a problem with the screws falling out of the bracelet which took hours to put back, I noticed the watch was still ticking and keeping the time and date I set originally. Obviously its not a kinetic or auto movement. The replica looks great and the chrono buttons work but what the hell! I'm scared when the day comes and I have it opened only to find a cheap Asian "toy" movement. I contacted replicawatch and they told me replicawatch.us is a different site than replicawatch.com. Who cares. They didn't say they're not the same company! I paid about $189.00 for this thing and I guess it must be chalked up for screw me once, shame on you....BUT How Does One Know and what do I do when battery stops working? Jewlers won't touch these so if you guys can help direct me I'd really appreciate it. I'm brand new to this forum and don't know how to get replies back unless they're PM. H E L P please.

What do you do when the battery stops working? You go and buy an SR626-SW watch battery and swap it over that's what. It will be a OS-20 quartz movement.

BTW, there have been no mechanical Miyota movements used in reps for several years now. Don't believe any site that tells you otherwise.

Well my question for the 8215 is how to make the stutter stop??? A proper service will do?? And next question is what ETA can replace the Miyota into my Spectre Omega?? Also how can I keep most of the decoration at the back?? Thank you!!

A service may cure the problem, but the bigger question is why pay someone $75 to service a $35 movement. The weight distribution on the second hand is just as much to blame as the design deficiencies in the movement for the hand slip - it's not stutter, it's slip.

For Miyota 8215 (and the Chinese 3800 series) there are six ETAs with the same stem height: the 2870 and 2871, which are scarce, as they are dateless, the 2872 and 2873, which are date, and the 2878 and 2879, which are day/date.

You won't be able to keep much of the 'decoration' - maybe the rotor if it's modified.

Think, before you drink, before you buy.

You can swap in a miyota 9015. Not sure about the deco plates but hands, stem, etc should transfer over.

That is a valid option, and I completely understand your desire to maintain the decorations. I'm not sure of the cost of a service on a miyota. You would have to ask. If it's just hand slip as tripdog has suggested, then the fix may be alot less expensive. I'd contact Strodda, G from 14060 or 16610? Watch repair, or Kat and have them assess it...they are all CONUS based.

My modder in Italy, US not an option unfortunately.. anyway if reluming is an option I might think of it, if not I will have to live with the stuttering until it lasts I guess

Hand sizes are the same for both Miyota movements, stem height on the 9015 is the same height as the 2892 -1.53mm, with an additional dial ring to bump it up to 2824 thickness - 1.8 mm

Miyota 8215 has a stem height of 2.5 mm - so your only options are ETA : ETA 2870, 2871, 2872, 2873, 2878 or 2879
