ZZF V3 Submariners up on Jtime

Are you sure its a v3? ZZF used a different sticker than v2s. What does the clasp code say?

Its a v2s but v3 is just the bracelet. It been claimed more has changed but the lack soecufics and the same case serials would suggedt not. V2s is agreat watch i put an actual arf bracelet on mine and its pretty great

Received my ZZF V2s from Prof a few weeks ago just like the one macarone posted. Prof said he orders the new models to make sure his crystal fits. (Thanks Prof! Great cyclops! ) Mine is only a few hundred serial numbers below the first true V3 serial numbers Li shows on Jtime. Mine too has the C4R clasp code. But I believe that the other V3 improvements are on these late V2s watches. Rehaut, bezel and blue spring VR 3135 movement all look like V3 to me. Prof crystal so can't tell about that. The first V3's from Jtime site showed the older style sticker on the V3 so that is meaningless. Just saying this to try to understand how a new model changes and transitions. Looks to me like it is gradual with new parts creeping into current production before the reveal. Of course the 1LD clasp is the big tell for the new model. I really like my V2s (transitional at least to me). I Have a "real" V3 on order from Jtime so I will get a side by side comparison soon.
Just paid for an order of the v3 116610lv from JTime. Been wanting a hulk for a long time and seems like this is the most promising one yet OOTB.
Having a piece of both modded Noob 114060 and JF 16610lv I'll see how well this one pairs up. Excited and can't wait for QC!

What exactly do you mean? Lol
The minute markers on the dial on the hulk are touching the rehaut from 10 to 3 o’clock marker and not touching it from 5 to 9

I wish I hadn’t seen this, I’ve just ordered one and now like yourself I can’t unsee this. Ignorance is bliss in this hobby!
Just checked my V2S hulk minute markers, seems like its true! However its very minor and cant be seen from wrist. Wouldnt be too worried about it to be honest.

First thoughts:
The gen dial has a deeper and darker sunburst tone. Side by side it's pretty obvious.
The thickness of the ZZF DW font is slimmer.
Markers on the rep look more flat.
Not sure if it's the rep crystal, somehow it looks more cloudy then the gen. Maybe a prof crystal will solve it.

Crystal is also flushed on the rep. It protrudes a little out on the gen...

Thanks for your feedback so far, I cant see this stuff without having it pointed out. LOL. The date is the only thing that really (slightly) looks different to me, in the photos anyway.

What about the insert colour? Looks very different on the pictures, but might be the light.....

It looks off to me too. That combined with the cloudy crystal in my opinion make this a no go. It's a good Rep obviously, but I think the ZZF beats it and hopefully the VSF will be better too.

A Gen xtal will improve the look of the dial. But it’s still not quite right in colour .
