What a wonderful thread I have just read. Thanks to smoke for sharing his knowledge. I had an arf A2824 v2, I sold it and after a few minutes I regretted because it was overall a good watch (and with a great accuracy of +2 s/d). So now I was planning to buy an arf sh3135 v3 but I have just discovered this great work by zzf so probably I will change my mind on what to buy.. Anyway, great thread, thanks

Do you guys think that the VR3135 could last a little or is it safer do get an asian 2824/36 and swap an ETA in once it collapses?

The only flaw for my eyes is the pearl which is it's a bit on the left side but it's just a hairline. Besides it's really not noticeable unless you take a really good look thru a picture and in person probably

KerwinKey Well, that's just like the project I have in my mind, apart from the bezel, I think zzf v2 is already fine, but just my 2 cents obviously
