Ok so a friend of mine got this zzf v2 ln. Compared to my arf hulk v3.
-serialnumber A BIG TEL, easy to see on the wrist even.
-crown have sharp edges, turns hard
-case are a tiny bit smaller
-bezzel is stiff but feels solid
-milky cyclops, no real blackhole
-bracelet feels just like a noob 904 i had, feels stiff and lighter compared. Like a toy to the arf one. (washed and cleaned)
Clasp is stiff.
I would say add arf bracelet and prof xtal
Overall a good watch

I'm still debating whether to go a2836 or vr3135. Ik that the a2836 is more reliable/easier to work on but the vr3135 can take a lot of gen parts. Any advice/opinions? Also why do many dealers list it as zzf v2 sa3135 not vr3135?

I have the v1 and have the same issue with the dimple where the hands are mounted, I have looked at genuine in AD and there is a dimple but not as prenounced, is my observation correct? Beautiful watch though just being ocd like all us all ????
you noticed right mate, however, some dimples can be more pronounced on gens as well as ZZFs. My gen GMT has quite pronounced dimple quite similar to ZZfs. However, they can be smaller too.

I had this exact dilemma initially. I think, for me at least, the main factor is, do you have anyone who can service your rep for you? If yes, then go with the VR3135. If no, then the A2824, so that if the movement dies, you can throw in a 2824 replacement yourself.
So I went with an A2824 initially, then found a local modder (best thing since sliced bread), and went on to get the VR3135 without worry.
Thinking about getting this zzf and adding some gen parts. If anyone knows of a modder or rep-friendly watch maker in NJ please pm.

I’ve read the crown height is off on the 2836 version but would like to get swatch I can wear without having to send away this time! Do you guys feel it’s a painfully different, if so I’ll just go with the 3135 and get it serviced but I’ve had much better experiences with 2836 movements..?

The difference is 0.4 / 0.5mm. Only you can decide how painful it is for you.

Thanks for the insight, couldn’t find anything about the actual measurement, sounds pretty negligible to be fair, but will prob go with the vr3135 out of curiosity and just get it serviced
