KerwinKey Well, that's just like the project I have in my mind, apart from the bezel, I think zzf v2 is already fine, but just my 2 cents obviously

The pearl on arf bezel is a level up IMHO

two options:
- keep on turning it
- destruct the bezel and clean everything, it could be that there is some dirt left from the factory within the construction

I have the same problem using the ZZF case and springs with a gen bezel. Wayyy too tight. Tried the clean everything and repress but didn't work. Will gen clicksprings help? That's the only other thing I can think of. Maybe the ZZF clicksprings are too stiff.

watch out for the orientation of the retaining ring. if mounted the wrong way, it will be too tight or you won’t even be able to get the bezel back to where it belongs

That in the middle is an indetation and it is perfectly fine. Gens have that to. Yours is actually quite a good one.

Yep. And I guess, all ZZF has the same indentation as light play a great role in highlighting it. Here's mine n a Gen Rolex dial, to see how prominent this indentation can look.

Thanks! I have everything perfect right now for my franken. Only issue is a tight bezel but I can live with that!
