ZF RM55, new super clone movement

I don't have measuring calipers but is approximately 13mm, it is noticely thinner than the NTPT variant from the side profile but on wrist I couldn't tell. Here are some pics for reference:

Yes it is clearly thicker. Would you say at least 1mm thicker? It does look so on the picture. I’m considering at zf but it states 13.5 mm but my experience is that they are usually thicker than written. The gen is more like 13mm like your cnc case.
Isn’t the gen ceramic thinner than the rest of the RM055 line?

Yes, the gen NTPT legend models and grey titanium model are all thicker than the white ceramic. Like substantially and noticably.

I love it, the movement is great to look at and in many angles/lighting conditions looks very close to gen - it is a big jump up aesthetically from the BBR V3 and massively from everything before that. I don't find the finishing of the ribs to be a big deal in person, they certainly catch more light than the gen brushed finishing but it does not look bad IMO. If anything, the most noticeable flaw to me is the sizing of the mounting screws between 1 and 2 o'clock, they are larger than on the gen and in certain lighting conditions stick out quite a lot
I had been sitting on the fence about getting an RM055 rep since the seiko deco ZF reps came out in 2020. I was never interested in the BBR V1 & V2 as the I didn't like the proportions of the movement, even though it was impressive to see that moving balance wheel for the first time. Nearly pulled the trigger on the BBR V3 when it came out earlier this year, but I'm glad I waited. I'm sure there will be even more accurate releases in the future, but for now this ZF is gets most of the way there without going into the high priced custom build territory
This was my understanding as well. Here is a video of a genuine RM055 Yas Marina model where this is evident, it is clearly thicker than the ceramic models:

Based on all the pics I've seen, the RMF does seems like better value for money, but the ZF looks more refined when it comes to smaller details such as the case screws, crystal AR, printing on the bezel, strap and buckle e.g.
There seems to be many pros and cons for each when it comes to the movements and carbon cases. Compared to my ZF in direct sunlight, the texture of the front case of the RMF looks better in the first video on this page: https://biao6688.com/en/309685.html, but there are also images where I think the RMF case pattern looks worse i.e. strange, overly wavy.
Some of the videos on bilibili I have watched refer to the RMF as having the "cheap movement", but don't elaborate on if it is objectively any better or worse. Aesthetically I don't have strong feelings for one over the other
