Why would ZF be better than the RMF? The RMF improved the skeleton movement, both with the brushed ribs as well as the lower-left part on the rear of the movement). The NTPT patters look the same on both, though lighting on the biao video makes the RMF pattern look better. And RMF costs substantially less than ZF.

Am I missing something, because the RMF seems to be a better watch?

I think it's because they "hacked" the movement so the hands stop moving. Just my guess.

mods should separate the RM factory posts into a separate thread if possible so we keep this one to ZF

From my eyes the case looks really nice but blegh, you can really see the "painted" ribs effect in these photos as other members have stated.

I would personally wait to see what other factories can come up, since we have seen this movement been released to other factories who have done the final brushing better.
