Thanks for sharing the information here. Just curious, Does ziczacleather also provide the engraved logo too on the leather like gen, or only provide quality leather without any kind of JL logo?

No they don‘t have gen engraving. „Only“ awesome quality straps

What is the reason that Gen also has the same flaw (1minute dot marker touches 12o'clock marker)? Is it intended by JL to spot gen vs rep? and ZF thinks twice then copy that the flaw too exactly??

hope its not like when ARF started theyr 126600 and people have to wait 4-6 weeks.

maybe you can check toro and sead. Sometimes they have a few in stock when new watches release.

I just visited to an official watch store to take a loot at gen in person. confirmed gen doesn’t have the same flaw (the minute 1 marker touches 12 o’clock marker). The minute 1 marker and the minute 59 market are placed at a same distance from the 12 o’oclock marker each side. I was not able to see the sunburst effect due to it is instore, not outside to get direct sun light.

That crooked 12 o’clock marker is just an image fault by my mobile phone camera. the gen actually looks correct not crooked.

Appreciate the effort. Now I’m conflicted. Do all reps have the issue?

Also, too bad you couldn’t confirm the sunburst. That would be a dealbreaker for me

Looks like some gens have this “issue” and some don’t. Different gen batches + variations is quite normal. Wouldn’t be surprised if there are sunburst and no-sunburst gen variants.

I compared a lot of gen pics and that issue is noticeable on 50/50 - so there are some with and without this „flaw“ - Thats good to know because we don’t habe to worry about this

I think on the Rep Dial is a sunburst - look at the pic, its from my QC - i filtered the pic and it looks like the Dial has a sunburst....Will confirm it when i get mine.
