Mine arrived today from Andrew at Trusty.
Myth busting time. The dial does have a sunburst. The markers are as straight as a die and probably straighter than the gen.
The watch is frankly amazing. Don't ass around , just buy one. I have owned several Gen JLC watches I know them well. This Rep is incredible. The Rep world is moving forward at a rapid rate and ZF are doing great work.
the strap is pants. Ironically I have three gen JLC straps in my strap box. However two of them are 20mm and one is 19mm. The lug size on this watch is 21mm.
Here are a few quick photos. You cant see the sunburst. You will only see it in natural light and even then it will be difficult to photograph. Trust me, it is subtle ( which it should be) but it is there.

Is the rotor any noisy ?
All non bidirectional rotors are audible on the back wind , like a 7750, but I wouldn't call it noisy. JLC winding systems are also audible.

Very nice pics... this is definitely my next purchase. But can I check, in the first pic, why does it look like some of the minute marker's edge are pointing upwards? is it "bent upwards" or just a visual anomaly due to the crystal angle?

Quite happy with the black dial. It reminds me of a Gen Ultrathin I had . Sold it a few years ago.

As I said Markers are straight I didn't even look at QC pics. Andrew at trusty would not send me a watch with off markers. He would reject it himself before I saw it.

So I know ZF has been busy, but do we know when the white and/or gray dial of this will be released? I'm also excited about the aquanaut from ZF too. They are knocking it out of the park recently.
